Gökberk CİNBİS

Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering, at Bilkent University.

Doctoral researcher in the LEAR team, at INRIA Grenoble, France, from 2010 until 2014, where his advisors were Jakob Verbeek and Cordelia Schmid, and received a PhD degree in computer science from Université de Grenoble, France, in 2014.

Received an M.A. degree in computer science from Boston University, USA, in 2010, where his advisor was Stan Sclaroff, and a BSc degree from Bilkent University, in 2008.

Research interests include computer vision and machine learning, with special interest in statistical image models, deep learning, and weakly supervised learning with appications to large-scale object detection and image/video categorization.

Pelin ÖZBOZKURT
Ph.D.
Big Data Solutions Lead, Oracle, Turkey&Central Asia

10-years experience in analytics solution selling and business development. Introducing new technologies, developing new business areas and extending available IT&Business platforms by using new analytics applications within highly competitive markets.

Has strong theoretical background with Statistics Phd and two different master degrees from METU Statistics. Hands on project experience and in-depth expertise in different analytics projects within various industries, including telecommunications, retail, insurance, public security and government sectors.
