About us
Halò! Ciamar a tha thu? đđź
Here's where you'll find some of Glasgow's Scottish Gaelic events listed! Events will require a sign-up (due to limited space). Events are free unless otherwise stated, so you don't need to pay to sign up.
Events are usually held at our charity, An Lòchran (22 Mansfield St., Glasgow G11 5QP). Some events are held at Tramway cafÊ (1st floor, 25 Albert Drive, Glasgow G41 2PE), which is a fantastic wee space we can recommend checking out.
To see all of An Lòchran's events, sign up to the charity's weekly newsletter by clicking HERE and entering your email address at the bottom of the page. Or, you can take a look at the overview page HERE, which is updated every Sunday before the new week starts.
WHO WE'RE FOR
Our goal is to provide an environment where people can confidently practice and use their Scottish Gaelic. As such, we run various events. Some are aimed at beginners who are taking their first learning steps, some are for intermediate folks who are able to converse a little, and some are for advanced speakers who can converse/communicate with few or no issues. Events will be advertised according to these levels.
