Couples Go Kayaking on the Huron River

Let’s get out on the river and have some fun in the sun. I will be reserving spots for us, but they require a $29 refundable deposit for every 4 people I reserve. Please make sure to update your RSVP so I can reserve accordingly. If there is a waitlist, I will open it up and reserve more spots as needed.

This starts and ends at Gallup Park. We will take a shuttle up river and paddle back to our cars.

Optional things to bring: snacks, water, sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, and anything else you might want to have while on the water. Don’t bring any valuables unless you have ways to keep it dry and safe.

This 5.7-mile river trip starts at the Gallup Livery and we transport you and your kayaks upriver to Barton Dam. Paddle 2-mile Argo Pond, the Argo Cascades, and on down the Huron River back to the Gallup Livery.

Kayaks only, $29/single kayak and $35/double kayak. We do run out of single kayaks on busy weekend days so you may have to take a double kayak instead.
Life jackets are required and provided.

RSVP Policy
Please set your RSVP for the correct +1 or such if your S.O. is not also RSVP'd. They are NOT required to be part of the group or even on Meetup, but we definitely need them accounted for so we don't find ourselves short seats at a reservation etc. If you cannot get the +1 to work properly, please send me a message and I will adjust for you.
