Meet New People, Volunteer, Get Involved!
Details
Coming off a busy weekend with a Food Gatherers warehouse shift on Saturday and hosting a table at Ypsi Pride on Sunday, we have a whole lot more events and opportunities for community and civic engagement coming up both in the next few weeks, and through the rest of the year. Founded in 1936, the Ann Arbor Jaycees are the local chapter of JCI Michigan, JCI USA, and JCI International - a civic, service, and social organization with a mission of leadership development through community service.
We are a group of young adults, ages 21-40, who meet to make new friends, make a positive impact on our communities, develop our skills, and grow our confidence.
The business portion of our monthly meetings covers our upcoming social and community events and opportunities to get involved, starts at 7:00 PM, frequently features guest speakers from other community groups and nonprofits or group activities, and social time both before from 6:30 PM to the formal start at 7, and once the business portion concludes until our room reservation ends.
