Community Leadership Training

Empowering individuals from all backgrounds to get involved in local community groups and leadership through facilitated dialogue, networking and formal training. In collaboration with Volunteer Now, between January and March 2026.

Ever wanted to run your own group? Learn more about community and voluntary groups? This is your chance! Join this FREE course to gain experience and certificates in topics such as:

* Thinking of Myself as a Leader
*Safeguarding (adults and children)
*Recruiting, retaining and rewarding volunteers

Plus, all participants will enjoy an end of course party!

This course requires no prior experience of community work.

Week 1: Friday 30th January 1-4pm
Week 2: Friday 06th Feb 1 - 4pm
Week 3: Friday 27th Feb 10 am - 4 pm
Week 4: Mon 9th March 1 - 5pm

Please note applicants must be able to attend all dates.
