About us
Annapolis Jaycees is a group of young professionals (ages 21-40) focused on the Annapolis, MD and Anne Arundel community providing unique volunteer opportunities throughout the year with social events in-between.
A few signature volunteer events include Maryland Special Olympics, Jam-Pack-A-Backpack (setting kids up for success with school supplies for the year), Hanging of the Greens (decorating downtown Annapolis storefronts for the holidays), and GreenScape Annapolis (gardening and mulching areas around town in the spring).
This organization is also known as the Annapolis Junior Chamber of Commerce (http://www.annapolisjaycees.com), and is a member of the Maryland Jaycees, the United States Junior Chamber of Commerce, and Junior Chamber International.
We are an inclusive group and welcome you to join us to get to know your community & meet new people while having fun!
We have a networking monthly meeting every third Tuesday, with a free round of drinks and appetizers. Feel free to drop by and meet others and see if this group is the right fit for you!

Hike & Brew (& Foods) - Bacon Ridge, Crownsville, MD
Bacon Ridge Trail, 1801 Hawkins Rd.,, Crownsville, MD, USJoin us for a morning hike through the forest trails of Bacon Ridge Natural Area in Crownsville, MD. There are a variety of trails that we can choose to traverse and then after we work up an appetite, we will head over to Lures Bar and Grille for some food*, drink*, and continued vibes!
We will meet at the Hawkins Trail Head (same as location pinned below) where there should be plenty of overflow street parking. Lures is also just a short drive from there and the establishment is on the way back to Annapolis for you Annapalonians 😉
*Note: food and drink are not covered by the Jaycees. Participants will be responsible for paying their own way at the restaurant.
