Carnival de Venice in Annecy, composition and street photography

Thought we could combine street photography with the Venice Carnival in Annecy. A chance to practice close up photography of people.
We could combine shots of the people shooting the various masks too.
This time we could just meet outside Columbus Cafe and head straight off.
Equipment: Zoom lenses (to compress the background)
wide angles: to get more of the surroundings in
Fast lenses: short depth of fields and will make you get in close
Tripods: always nice for longer exposures to blur people
