The Future of the Ansible Ecosystem

Details
Join us for a talk by Tim Appnel on The Future of the Ansible Ecosystem!
Ansible is a simple, powerful and agentless automation tool. A lot has been accomplished with it since February 2012 when the first commit was made. Here we will review the architectural and community factors which contributed to its accomplishments and the challenges that it must now address. Tim will cover how Ansible is being evolved over the coming years into a platform, and then demo some of the new features that have begun to emerge in recent releases.
A great chance to discuss and give feedback.
Plus a bonus lightning talk:
Building Kubernetes Operators in an Ansible-native way
Learn how Ansible can help developers quickly ramp up to build Operators to automate and manage the life cycle of complex Kubernetes applications.

For directions/parking, here's a comprehensive map of all the available parking spots: https://goo.gl/IHvLEn
Once Blackwelder is full we suggest you find street parking on La Cienega Blvd. The La Cienega stop on the Metro Expo line is close to the venue as well. There will probably also be enough free beer that Uber might be a good choice :)
Sponsored by Replicated, Inc. and Vertical Sysadmin, Inc.
Replicated is a platform for cloud-native applications to distribute “modern on-prem” versions of their applications. Currently, Replicated powers the enterprise distribution for companies such as HashiCorp, Sysdig, CircleCI, Gradle, GitPrime, Snyk, Wickr, Yugabyte (+ many others).
Founded in 2009, Vertical Sysadmin is a premier professionals services and IT training company helping both IT novices and experts alike to achieve real learning. Adhering to the idea that study and learning should be approached with the same precision as software development, VSA’s instructors and training program designers are able to provide training starting from the student’s level of understanding, and walk them up the learning curve, virtually eliminating the pains of grasping new concepts and building greater understanding. They bring a balance between theoretical learning and hands-on experience connected with real life. Thus, it’s no surprise they get such raves as “for me the training was perfect,” “true learning” and “Nothing comes close to the quality of training from Vertical Sysadmin.”
