Ansible NOVA August Session

It's an August Ansible Adventure! Come join us for another virtual Ansible NOVA Meetup: Wednesday, August 12th from 4:00 to 5:30'ish.

We have two (2) presentations planned for the day's events:

(1) Derek Carter, Systems Architect - Endosys
"Multi-Environment Ansible Layout"
We'll discuss one of the more flexible and powerful layouts one can use when setting up Ansible playbooks. This layout can be used for:

• Multiple environments (development, integration, staging, production)
• Hybrid inventories (some hosts from AWS, some locally defined)
• Secrets and variable are managed using smaller scopes

(2) Dwane Pottratz, Senior Solutions Architect - ORock Technologies
"Ansible Cloud Connection Basics"
Ansible has tasks that use the API accesses of OpenStack. We will be showing how to setup ansible to talk to the ORock OpenStack cloud, or any other OpenStack cloud. We will demonstrate the step by step process to create a compute instance (in the ORockCloud).
