Welcome to Ansible Oxford - round 2!
The first event went really well, and we hope that you will bring just as many good questions and ideas this time. There will be pizza and beer :-)
How does Ansible play with Docker?
The main topic is containers. There's been a lot of talk about how Ansible is great with Docker, and we want to find out what it's all about. Our aim is to leverage the simplicity of Ansible (http://docs.ansible.com/) when containerising our workloads with Docker (https://www.docker.com/whatisdocker).
What is your experience with Ansible+Docker? Small or big, let us know if you have an example to share and we'll include you in the schedule (just comment below, or message one of the organisers).
Learnyouansible
We’re also bringing a new project (https://github.com/learnyouansible/learnyouansible) for learning (and teaching!) Ansible. If you want to get started with Ansible, or help teach your friends, colleagues or classmates how to stop wasting time on repeated server setups, Learnyouansible (https://github.com/learnyouansible/learnyouansible/wiki) wants to help you achieve that.
Join us in Oxford city centre on the 29th July.
If this is your first time with Ansible/Docker, we recommend that you read up on it first. Here are two links that should get you started (5 minutes each should be enough!)
