What we’re about
Artificial Intelligence is quickly becoming a threat to democracy, capitalism and the human experience. Million of displaced jobs without proportional replacement, imminent social unrest, ungodly wealth disproportionately and a future run by a small elite class. This club is a solutions based club. We are not going to stop AI but we can influence how it can be used to serve humanity instead for the upcoming trillionaire class. We need to empower people to move towards a different paradigm. A paradigm that should have been realized in the growth of the internet but instead was commandeered by techno-fascists. Everyone is welcome and diversity is a prerequisite for a well functioning club.
About the name: When we say "anti-AI" we are against the current planned implementation of AI like huge data centers that are advancing human-caused climate change, the false narrative that AI will give entrepreneurial opportunity and bring wealth to the middle class and all the other false promises. We are however, like is said above, a solutions and technologist based group. Our goal is to bring power back to the people by collective brainstorming. We have a chance to steer AI in the direction that the internet and social media should have been steered.
