What we’re about
Do you ever catch yourself scrolling endlessly on TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube – only to feel drained and unfocused afterwards? That’s what many call Brainrot. It happens when constant short-form content overstimulates our brain’s reward system. The result? Shorter attention spans, less motivation, and more anxiety in real life.
This group is for anyone who wants to break that cycle. Together, we’ll:
- Follow simple daily challenges to reduce mindless scrolling.
- Rebuild focus, creativity, and patience.
- Practice small social confidence exercises in a supportive environment.
- Meet once a week to share our progress, hold each other accountable, and set new goals.
It’s not about quitting your phone completely – it’s about regaining balance and making space for real experiences, real people, and real growth.
Group Guidelines (during our meetups)
Respect – Everyone has different struggles. Listen without judgment, no shaming or mocking.
Confidentiality – What is shared in the group, stays in the group. No gossip outside.
Equal Time – Everyone gets a chance to speak. Don’t dominate the conversation.
No Phones – During the session, phones stay silent and away. This is our Anti-Brainrot time.
Be Present – Show up on time, participate actively, and give your full attention to the group.
Support, not therapy – We’re here to encourage each other, not to replace professional help.
Respect Boundaries – Social challenges are encouraged, but nobody is forced to do something they’re not ready for.
Positivity – Celebrate small wins, encourage progress, and focus on solutions.
Together we’ll reclaim our focus, overcome fear, and create space for real life to happen.
