What we’re about

"The wildest, most mythical karaoke party in Barcelona." -Time Out Barcelona, 2024

Created and hosted by the U.S. comedian Rachel Arieff, this unique fusion of karaoke, party, rock concert and parade of personalities has become a classic of Spanish nightlife and an essential destination for travelers from around the world. Anti-Karaoke is more than just a karaoke: it's a fascinating mix of locals and people from all over the world who gather together to create a bold, hilarious and euphoric show from scratch, based on a selection of over 800 of their favorite songs from the history of rock, pop, metal and punk.

Anti-Karaoke takes place once a month in Diobar, an underground rock club with concert-quality lighting and sound, lol and an ample stage to make you look and feel like a rock star in front of a supportive and loving crowd. Meanwhile, Rachel serves as Mistress of Ceremonies, providing rhythm, encouragement, special numbers and jokes. When the show ends at midnight, everyone is invited free of charge to the rock session Dance to the Underground where you can stay and dance until the wee hours.

Whether you intend to take the stage or sing from the audience, come to Anti-Karaoke and form part of this unforgettable experience!
