What we’re about
This is for those of you who are, for some reason (no judgment!), up at 4am, before the crack of dawn, and want something to do before the rest of the world unfortunately wakes up. I was thinking (if there actually more people out there than myself) that would like entertainment from 5am then we could meet for a morning coffee and discuss a book. I know there are a few book clubs on here but most of them meet at actual sociable times, plus, I would like to discuss books that are ambiguous and leave us with questions (more than just most recent or classics). Examples of such books that I have recently read are Our Wives Under The Sea, I Who Have Never Known Men & Recursive. These are all books that I have longed to have someone to discuss them with in real time.
About me: I just moved to Philly from the tragic UK and I would love to meet more people. Someone needs to hear my book rants! Please feel free to message me or join if this is something that interest you, and I will start the events arrangement. I was thinking to meet as often as people want but at least once per month. I am open to any suggestions (especially for good early morning cafes).
