50 hours non-stop improvised comedy soap opera

Dear members, I bring you the opportunity to recover from the horror that is Feb 14.
The day that the sheep are forced to “celebrate” not being single, with sickening fake romance, fixed menus, and overpriced clichés, that all attempt to suffocate any form of free will.

I invite you to attend a marathon, 50 hours of improvised comedy theatre. The theme this year is a Wild West soap opera. The play is on at Wiltons’s, the beautiful anti “West-End” theatre that is also the oldest grand music hall in the world.

The play is on from 7pm Friday 15th Feb until 9pm Sunday 17th Feb.
50 hours spread across 25 episodes. Watch it all, drop in and out, or pick a single episode.

Why go? Its funny, its random and who does not want to see world class actresses and actors, after 30 hours without sleep, become too tired to censor themselves. 20 core actors will play the whole 50 hours, going without sleep, with guest performers dropping in from time to time. There will be a band throughout and a all-night bar.

Now, please don’t ask about when and where we meet etc! You get to choose, turn up when you want. I am not planning on an arranged meeting during the 50 hours.

If you’re wondering when I, your faithful organiser may be there? Well probably Friday night (technically Saturday morning) somewhere around 3am. Basically after going clubbing, the girl and I will attend and probably stay till sunrise. Part of the fun will be marvelling at the audience this time of the night. The next planned sessions will be around 5 am Sunday morning. We will most likely be in our pyjamas and have stuffed toys and hot water bottles. Should you spot us, please don’t attempt to interact with the girl, she may snap your head off, as she will be ultra-grumpy at being out that early in the morning on Sunday. We may drop in again Sunday afternoon. I fear that I will not be able to stay the whole 50 hours. Perhaps next year, with better planning.
