What we’re about
I have been away from Antwerp for quite some time and, returning here, counted on Meetup events to boost my social circle. Reading what's currently being offered for Antwerp, I am quite disappointed :-)
Now, it could be that I got out of sync with 'what people want' when joining Meetup , but I don't think so. Sure, some are here to learn something, some joined to get laid (and need a drinking event as an intermediate stage), and some promote their commercial activities (gosh... there are a lot of these on Meetup). And that's all fine.
But it is not what I am looking for.
Here in my hometown, I just would like to know genuine people. People who are curious and have a growth mindset (or are curious to know what a growth mindset is :-)). People who can look others in the eyes long enough to connect one-on-one (but not too long, so it gets awkward :-)). People who are honest and diplomatic, kind and teasing, fun and deep, and all of this in one conversation :-) People for whom IQ matters, but not as much as EQ.
Anybody like this out there?

Let's have great conversations in a charming bar with a small group of people at the table (more people = more tables) and meet other people who can listen without losing their own voice.
