About us
Welcome to the Anvil and Ember Social Iron Guild. This is a group for anyone curious about the craft of blacksmithing, whether you have never held a hammer or are looking for a casual community to practice your skills alongside. We are focused on the fundamentals of working with hot metal, sharing techniques, and helping each other troubleshoot projects in a relaxed, low-pressure environment.
Our gatherings are meant to be more about the process than the product. We get together to get our hands dirty, learn how to move steel, and enjoy the company of others who appreciate the trade. If you have been wanting to try your hand at the forge but did not know where to start, or if you simply enjoy the atmosphere of a workshop, we would be glad to have you join us for our next session.
