WTF is Flink?

This is our very first meetup!!!

The agenda is not 100% fixed yet, but we plan to cover 3 things:

1 - High level hand-wavey overview of Flink. This is for anyone who has not used Flink at all before.

2 - Guest speaker talking about a use case and the details of what they implemented.

3 - 'Live' demo of the K-means clustering example from the Apache website ( https://ci.apache.org/projects/flink/flink-docs-release-0.10/quickstart/run_example_quickstart.html )

Please note: There will be about 2 hours of presenting/demoing. The third hour is in case we run over and for people who want to stay and chat. For this first meetup we will head to a local pub when the talks are over.

Our aim is that by the end of this session you will all know what Flink is; you will have seen the relevance of it in 'real life'; and you will all have seen the demo so you can comfortably do it on your own if you want.

Those of you who want to bring along your laptops can try to follow along if you like!
