Zhenhao Li
Zhenhao is a Consultant and part of the Advanced Technology and Architecture group at Accenture Netherlands. His main duties are big data development and data engineering. Before this role he was doing a PhD in Mathematical Logic at the University of Amsterdam.
Abstract:
Querying Real Time Data
I will talk about how to use Flink and Kafka to make ingested events queryable in real time as a scalable solution to a common use case. There will be a brief demo.
Mark Sumner
Mark works as a Consultant at Data Reply UK as part of the Reply group. Previously, he worked as a Software Engineer at Goldman Sachs in Equities. His main duties lie in the Data Engineering discipline: developing scalable pipelines, components, utilities, accelerators. Prior to this, he completed a BSc in Computer Science at the University of Birmingham.
Abstract:
I will talk about how to do Complex Event Processing on streams using the Flink CEP library. To make this more practical, we will demo with a live stream of cryptocurrency tickers and infer patterns from them in realtime. Buzzwords include: Kafka, InfluxDB, Grafana, FlinkCEP, Flink (Streaming) & Avro, Spray
