Streaming technologies often offer a High-Level SQL API for submitting streaming jobs, but they still require hands-on expertise to submit them. In this talk, weāll explore how to build a fully self-serve abstraction over Apache Flinkās TableAPI (SQL), that empowers end users to focus solely on writing SQL. Weāll walk through how to enable static SQL query validation with no Flink runtime, job deployment, and provide monitoring dashboards and alerts out-of-the-box.Gal is a Data Platform Engineer at Riskified with 8 years of experience in Software Engineering, including roles at Fiverr and Check Point.
