Replicating relational database binary logs to Kafka

Change data capture is an critical of part of modern data warehousing, operational monitoring, cyber analytics, and data science platforms. A change to a database table means: “something happened,” and when something happens, other applications might want to know about it. We will share real world experience in replicating multiple production MySQL (RDS) and AWS Aurora databases to Kafka for downstream distributed processing.
