Building a streaming platform using the Kafka Connect and Kafka Streams APIs

We are pleased to announce our next Apache Kafka DC Meetup with Jay Kreps, Co-Founder and CEO of Confluent, and the original author of several of open source projects including Apache Kafka, Apache Samza, Voldemort, and Azkaban. In this Meetup, Jay will share experience, techniques, and best practices for building a streaming platform using the Kafka Connect and Kafka Streams APIs. Kafka Connect is a tool for scalably and reliably streaming data between Apache Kafka and other data systems. Kafka Streams is a powerful, easy-to-use library for building highly scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed stream processing applications on top of Apache Kafka.
