We are pleased to announce our AKUG.PT #4 community event in partnership with the KafkaBR community!
Apache Kafka® have been evolving as a central piece for event-driven, streaming and reactive architecture. But what is it really? Only a storage event? Is it a bus? What about its processing ecosystem? How it works?
Fábio José de Morales will be our speaker for this event. He will share his knowledge on Apache Kafka® to be aligned on the technology, the talk will be interactive for the audience to maximize its understanding. Being in partnership with the KafkaBR group, we will also share ideas for next events and format that could interest the community!

TALK : Apache Kafka 101
In this talk we are going to explain the Kafka main usage, concepts and deployment options. The main goal is to align the audience on the potential of the technology, its motivation, and where it could bring more value to an organisation. We hope that everyone will enjoy the talk and get back home with a clear vision of the solution!
SPEAKER : Fábio José de Morales
Fábio is a Software Engineer with more than 18 years of experience building distributed systems, where he specialized in Cloud, DevOps, Microservices and Reactive Systems. Fábio is also an ex-member in the CNCF Serverless CloudEvents workgroup where he volunteered coding Java and NodeJS SDK, and also contributed to the Avro specifications for an open cloud event model. About a year ago he started KafkaBR, searching to help the Apache Kafka® community sharing knowledge and experiences through meetups, webinars, talks and articles. When he is not working, he enjoy time with his family and friends, being a proud husband and father of three wonderful daughters full of energy!
