Dear Members,

We are pleased to announce our AKUG.PT #11 community event dedicated to Apache Kafka Performance topics.

Event-driven and Streaming platforms are central nervous system of key businesses. The need to process data and react fast to “data in motion” is a key requirements for companies; hence the importance of managing Kafka Performance.

This event will be an open session with the community to share our questions and perspectives on how to approach this topic. A panel of speakers will be there to introduce the topic, structuring the subject and taking then a serie of live questions from the community.

🇵🇹 🇺🇸 The talk will be held in Portuguese by default, in English depending on the audience - as possible get yiou camea and mic ready!

⏰ The talk will take place a 6 pm PT time

📢 PANELIST : Luís Bastião Silva
Luís is working at BMD software as CTO, and his main field of expertise is the development and innovation of medical imaging solutions, data integration between different information systems, and also datamining over big data repositories. His main interests are mainly related with development of large scale applications and data integration for medical informatics.

📢 PANELIST : Paulo Marques
Paulo is a Software Developer, currently working for Polarising as Fullstack Developer, coaching developers in frontend frameworks and collaborating in event driven architectures and microservices projects. With over 20 years in software development, he focused on Java ecosystem and web frameworks. When Paulo's not working, you can find him in a tennis court, hiking 7 miles or in technology meetup events.

📢 PANELIST : Bruno Horta (TBC)
Bruno Horta has completed his studies in Software Engineering at the ESTG of the Instituto Politécnico de Leiria. He s a Senior Java Developer at VOID Software, focused on high-performance and distributed applications. He s passionate about developing prototypes within the context of IoT. He is also the founder of "Movimento Maker Portugal".
