Earth Day Cleanup - Hickory Mound

Date: Saturday, April 26th.
Time: 9:00am - Noon
Details: This is an FWC event.
Like an "Adopt a Highway" event along the roads of the impoundment ponds - Trash bags provided and FWC picks them up. Bring work gloves, pickers, bug spray. We may need a few kayakers this year (for water cleanup) and will let you know.
Etc: Lunch & water provided.Bring bug spray!!!!
There is no limit for the cleanup part of the event.

Post cleanup paddle: planned but is limited to 10 paddlers. As far as paddling, the ramp/staging area is fairly small (carpooling is encouraged).
Probably launch around 1 pm, after lunch.
Contact Dorsey to get on the paddle list. Of course, the paddle is subject to the weather. High tide is at 1:50pm.
