Paddling Trip on the Wakulla River
Let’s plan to meet at the upper Bridge on the Wakulla river at 10:00 am EDT on Friday, Oct. 31st.
This trip will run downstream on the Wakulla from the upper bridge (Shadeville rd. / Hwy. 365) to the village of St. Marks - San Marcos de Apalache State Park.
NOTE: This trip does involve a shuttle. The shuttle plan will be made at the put in.
Bring your own boat. Bring paddle(s), Bring PFD (and plan to wear it). Bring a lunch. Bring a whistle. Bring plenty of water, insect repellent, sun protection, rain gear, snacks, personal first aid kit and any medications you may need. You need wear your pfd while paddling. No dogs please. Children under 18 must be accompanied by their legal guardian or parent.
If you are a MEETUP ONLY member (not yet a member of the ACKC) you must Meetup RSVP to be included in this paddling trip, and you must sign a 2025 insurance waiver. This event is being posted on Meetup and the AC/KC group list.
