Annual ACKC Holiday Party, Potluck and Brown Bag Gift Exchange
Details
The holidays are upon us and it’s time once again to plan our ACKC Holiday Party. Diane Pickett (aka Dice) has graciously offered to host the party at her home this year. Thank you Dice! She lives east of Tallahassee on a delightful property that includes a barn where we can hold our event if it rains and plenty of room for a bonfire if it’s safe to burn.
Let’s plan to meet at 2:00 pm Eastern at Diane’s (Dice’s) house. The address is:
Diane Pickett
6164 Williams Rd.
Tallahassee, FL
850 570-8610
Once on the property, drive past the house and barn to park in the back pasture.
Bring a potluck dish to share, a serving spoon, something to drink, and a chair as well as your brown bag gift for the gift exchange. If you’re bringing a dish such as soup that requires bowls, bring them.
Santa will be passing out the brown bag gifts. Look through your attic, your closets or your garage for something that may be unique or funny and put it in a plain brown grocery bag. If your home is impeccably tidy and devoid of artifacts, feel free to look in your local thrift shop for a rare find that will make everyone laugh. Don’t spend more than $5.00. The rules are simple. The gift cannot be alive or recently alive (No roadkill please!). It’s perfectly okay to recycle an old gift. This is a fun event. We look forward to seeing you there.
