Apalachee Canoe and Kayak Club Meeting

Join us at Crafty Crab located at 1900 Capital Circle NE for dinner and a special presentation on paddling the Current River by founding member and author Liz Carter and and ACKC Membership Chair Butch Farmer. ""Winter weather got you down? Suffering from paddling withdrawal? Longing for new adventures? The Apalachee Canoe/Kayak Club understands. That’s why we have prepared an extra special treat for the January meeting. Veteran club members have once again pooled photos, maps, and memories to share super paddling experiences on the Current River. One of the most beautiful of the Ozark National Scenic Waterways, it has something for everyone.
"For the three years prior to Covid, members of ACKC paddled for four or five days in September on the Current. Butch Farmer is putting our memorabilia together to share at the meeting. Former participant are urged to attend to contribute. Every paddler needs to know more about these rivers. They are sensational!"
