Challenge Hike: Elinor Klapp-Phipps Park

Join us for a Challenge!

Enjoy a long walk under the trees. This is an approx. 7-mile hike with breaks every ~two miles, so know your ability and come prepared. This could be moderate to strenuous. Some gentle hills are part of this beautiful park. We’ll also walk through the Coon Bottom trail.

Meet at the Redbug trailhead. Turn into the Meridian Park Sports Complex. Turn left (south), the trailhead is located opposite the first baseball field (on your right). We start the hike at 9:00 am sharp. Come early at 8:45am for instructions and check-in.

Bring lots of water and some snacks, wear comfortable shoes, and apply bug repellent and sunscreen (and/or wear a hat) as needed. Dogs on a leash are welcome.
