FTA Celebrates National Trails Day® (Family Fun Day)

Join the Apalachee Chapter of the Florida Trail Association for a day of family fun as we celebrate National Trails Day® on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 10:30 am!

We will be meeting at The Hub at Feather Oaks (6500 Miccosukee Road - parking Lot opens at ~10 am) to begin the day with a hike along the beautiful Miccosukee Greenway. There will be TWO (2) hiking options available beginning at 10:30 am so you can choose your own adventure! We will be leading a shorter (~1.5-miles) stroller-friendly option for families with young children and also a longer (~5-mile) hike for those up for a little bit more of a challenge.

After the hikes, please join us for some Family Fun at The Hub at Feather Oaks ( https://www.thehubatfeatheroaks.com/ ) which opens at 11 am. This is a truly beautiful event space with lots of room available for us to have a great day of games and fun for all! There will be Food Trucks on site as well as live music that evening (starting at 5 pm).

Hikes begin promptly at 10:30 am and The Hub opens at 11:00 am. Even if you can't make it to hike with us, please be sure stop by and join us for some National Trails Day® fun throughout the day! We would love to see you there to celebrate National Trails Day with us!
