August Social at Wakulla Springs!

I Scream, You Scream… WE ALL SCREAM FOR ICE CREAM!

Since there is no Chapter Meeting in August, we invite you to beat the summer heat and join the Apalachee Chapter of the Florida Trail Association for some fun in the sun at Wakulla Springs State Park on Saturday, August 2 at 10am. We will have games, music, and some outdoor fun for all. Oh, and did I mention ICE CREAM?!?!

Don’t forget your bathing suit and towel if you want to take a plunge into the icy cold waters of the springs. Wakulla Springs state park is home to one of the world’s largest and deepest freshwater springs!

There is a $6 per vehicle fee to enter the park (unless you have a Florida State Park Pass…then it is FREE!) And don’t forget to check out the River Boat Tour while you are there (additional fees apply, contact the Lodge at Wakulla Springs for more information and boat tour ticket reservations).
