Chapter Meeting - Annual Awards & Tall Timbers: Exemplary Stewardship

In addition to our Annual Awards, our guest speaker will give us background and updates on the work of Tall Timbers, a local organization recognized nationwide as an exemplary land steward in the Red Hills Region. The presentation will blend local history, mission and ongoing work of Tall Timbers with emphasis on the important role of fire in ecosystems. They also offer internships and opportunities for youth interested in stewardship. Our speaker is Brian Weibler, Communications Director for Tall Timbers.

Our meeting begins at 6:30 pm with a social and refreshments provided by Chapter members. The Meeting begins at 7 pm.
