The program for our Chapter Meeting is the Wakulla Springs Lab. What's that? The Lab is a joint project between the FSU Coastal and Marine Lab and the School of Communication at FSU. In this program, our speaker will discuss the work of the Wakulla Springs Lab. We'll learn about the unique geology of our region, and explore useful tips for communicating environmental information to others. We will also have an opportunity to sign up for the Waters of Wakulla Tour which is offered by the lab. One or two of the FSU student interns who work with the lab will join Kellie Keys for the talk.

Our speaker, Kellie Keys is the communication team director of the FSU Wakulla Springs Lab. She works with a team of FSU interns from various backgrounds to produce research-based outreach materials which are edited by scientists and communication scholars at the university. She also teaches an undergraduate class in environmental communication.

We open the Chapter meeting with a social with member provided refreshments at 6:30 pm. At 7 the meeting begins, we adjourn at 8 pm.
