Challenge Hike: PRE - Miccosukee Greenway Trek

Give your heart some love and join us for a Challenge!

Enjoy a long walk under the trees. This is a PRE-Miccosukee Greenway Trek hike (see Feb. 28) at about half the distance (7.5 miles). Meet at the Edenfield Road Trailhead. We will hike to Crump Trailhead and back to Edenfield. This hike will have breaks every ~two miles, so know your ability and come prepared. This is a great opportunity to motivate yourself for the all-day hikes on the AT and Camino.

We start the hike at 9:00 am sharp. Come early at 8:45am for instructions and check-in. We will hike at a comfortable, but not leisurely, pace ~ 3-4 miles/hour (18-20-minute mile on average). Mild elevation (715 ft.).

Bring lots of water and some snacks/lunch, wear comfortable shoes, and apply bug repellent and sunscreen (and/or wear a hat) as needed. Dogs on a leash are welcome. Children (under age 18) must be attended by a parent or legal guardian.

Anyone may attend this event; however, please consider joining the FTA. We now have a special YOUTH membership (ages 18-30) for $10; ask Courtnay how to sign up!
