FTA Contact Mike Tucker (850) 545-3489 / email: tuckems@hotmail.com what time you can donate during the hours 8 AM – 4 PM January 6 - 9. Due to space, we have to keep the volunteers to no more than 5.

Volunteers are needed for the exciting Spring Creek Bridge Project. Starting January 6 through January 9 working 8 AM – 4 PM each day meeting at the Thompson House located at 6295 Coastal Highway, Crawfordville. Come for the day or just a few hours. Bring your lunch, snacks and water.

Only 3-5 volunteers are needed each day to help move lumber to the saw station for cutting and then caching for project use*.* It would be especially helpful to have a couple of sawyers each day, as they will be sharpening the piles during that week. If you can carry a board and use a tape measure your assistance with this project is priceless! This is the very beginning stages of the project and will continue through the New Year. Only volunteer for the time and days that you are available. This is going to be an amazing project and a jewel for the FNST and the St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge.

Construction on site will begin sometime in January and FTA will update the chapter when the events are open for volunteers to sign up using the FTA Website. Those events will be Tues-Fri of each week 8-5 with a full kitchen and meals provided at the Thompson House in Crawfordville (just like a regular staff supported Volunteer Work Party).
