The Tallahassee Earth Day Festival is a fun and FREE event with a focus on environmental and community engagement. Over 750 community partners participated last year and this year looks like it could be even bigger. FTA's Apalachee Chapter will have a table displayed for this event at FAMU. I will service the table all day with the help of some of my FAMU students. We'll have activity books and coloring pages for youth. Come by and say "hello!"

### Why Attend?

  • Purposeful Engagement: Inspire attendees—especially youth—through hands-on activities (e.g., demonstrations, art-based learning, gardening, science exploration).
  • Community Impact: Contribute to a day centered on learning, connection, and joy.
  • Visibility & Values: Showcase your organization’s commitment to sustainability and environmental justice.

Our participation marks our on-going commitment to reach out to the community, educate about the FNST, and build our membership.

No sign up on Meetup necessary.

Please consider joining the FTA. FTA now has a special YOUTH membership (ages 18-30) for $10; ask Courtnay how to sign up! The Florida Trail Association builds, maintains, protects, and promotes the Florida National Scenic Trail and a network of hiking trails throughout Florida. Our vision is a continuous well-maintained, protected network of hiking trails on public lands that highlight the unique natural, scenic, cultural, and historic places in Florida.
