# Winter Kids Pickleball Camp (Dec 17–21)

A 5-day beginner camp perfect for kids who are new to pickleball or have limited racket-sport experience.

## Daily Schedule

• 10:00–10:30 AM: Drop-off & check-in
• 10:30 AM–12:00 PM: On-court instruction (rules, scoring, learning technique on 5 core shots: serve, return, drops, transition, and dinks)
• 12:00–1:00 PM: Lunch break (supervised)
• 1:00–2:30 PM: Drills, games, and mini-challenges
• 2:30 PM - 3:00 PM: Pick-up

## Skill Focus

• Rules, scoring, and court lines
• 5 core shots: serve, return, drop, transition, dink
• Hand–eye coordination (short rallies < 4 hits)
• Clean contact, ready position, simple serve/return
• Beginning to keep score independently

## Ages & Grouping

• All ages welcome — campers grouped by age closer to the start date
• If a camper is more advanced, we’ll place them with an older/more suitable group

## Coach Ratios

• Ages 8 & under: 6:1 camper-to-coach
• Ages 9+: 8:1 camper-to-coach

Tip: Pack a lunch, water bottle, and court shoes. Loaner paddles available.
