Lets kick-start this API meetup

Hello Fellow API Artisans!

This is going to be our first meeting on Wednesday 25th at The Cube Athens.

Two passionate API craftsmen and enthusiasts will present and we will have time to socialize and hang out in the end.

The plan:

A brief description of the most popular API standards and description languages in order to improve the overall API lifecycle and service interoperability.

2. The perspective that matters by Dimitis Tydeas (https://www.linkedin.com/profile/view?id=164684036), PeoplePerHour (http://www.peopleperhour.com/)

We tend to design APIs with the wrong perspective. Thinking of database tables, been in the problem solving mode does not allow us to think how the API should be designed to honor our business values.
