Book Club with Diana Montalion: A Conversation on Learning Systems Thinking

Details
In a world increasingly defined by software complexity, interconnectivity, and unintended consequences, how can we better understand the systems we shape—and that shape us? As practitioners, leaders, and knowledge workers, we are moving beyond linear problem-solving into the world of systems thinking.
Join us for this discussion with the author of Learning Systems Thinking, This book is not just about systems theory; it’s about learning how to think differently, make more impactful decisions, and architect the patterns, structures, and feedback loops that software needs to become a healthy system.
We'll explore how systems thinking can change how we lead teams, design software, influence organizations, and navigate social challenges. Approaches to embracing uncertainty, avoiding the blame game, and developing responses when everyone else is reacting are sure to be mentioned.
Whether you're new to systems thinking or already struggling with these challenges, this session will help you rethink how you think about software development.
