“What does the Tsar want?”

This question has been on the lips of every Wasters for almost a year now. What drives Tsar Bomba, the most dangerous Bandit Warlord in decades to scour the Wastes. Taking slaves, razing Hard Holdings, killing hundreds.

He claims it’s to unite the Wastes under his singular rule. But surely he knows that it’s easier to herd Mut-Ants than direct ornery Wasters. So what does he really want?

Unfortunately for the Spearmint gang, they know. Between lucking into the Keeper Jon Von Bon and the Green Lantern’s leader, Newton, they discovered the secret: Tsar Bomba is looking for a weapon of unfathomable destructive power. With it, he'll be able to bludgeon the rest of SoKal into compliance. But knowing how the Wastes work, he’ll probably be forced to use it — killing hundreds.

Worse for the Spearmint gang, they're holding onto information the Tsar desperately wants: They know where this weapon is. Which paints a huge target, right on their collective kiester. Buried in a secret bunker in the largest and most dangerous Thin Place known. Big Trees, formerly known as Sequoia National Park.

But up until recently the entire valley of Big Trees was covered by a massive Hellstorm, the Spearmint Gang has bided their time. Doing their best to keep their secrets since the Tsar has a constant influx of information from people looking to buy their freedom.

But now the Hell-Storm is finally dissipating. Word finds it's way to all of the Spearmint gang members that it’s time to climb aboard the Battle-Bus. First stop: Commando California, before heading into Big Trees itself to confront the Tsar and whatever Spirits call the Valley home.

But rumor has it that the Tsar is on the move, too. Has a massive war party heading directly for Big Trees. How did he find out? Who knows, maybe he has Astral Bullshit on his side, too. Now, what was going to be a sneaky attempt to snatch it out from under his nose is now probably going to be more of a straight up fight. All in the most astrally active spot in the Wastes. What could go wrong? (Don’t answer that...)

Load your guns, sharpen your machetes, and pack your Spirit repellent (if that exists), Wasters. The end is just beginning.
