Playgrounds and Coffee shops of Doylestown.

This 4-6-mile moderate hike will explore the locations of 6 public playgrounds plus explore the wooded grounds of Fonthill Castle while walking and exploring the borough of Doylestown. We will begin and end the hike near Doyle elementary School in Doylestown, but there will be an option at the end of the hike to explore Doylestown and have coffee or lunch in one of the many lovely establishments in the borough. This hike is for adults and anyone else who will not be distracted from the hike by play equipment. Essentially, this hike is a way for parents and other adult caregivers to learn about the play opportunities in the borough, not for children to hike along with us. Modest elevation. Portapotties available at the park at hike starting location. Dress for the weather and bring water and a snack. Some roots and rocks. Heavy rains, snow, or high winds cancel.
