Looking West, Three Meadows and a Creek - 8 - 10 miles

The Wissahickon is known for its hilly, rock terrain, but it is also home to three meadows. Join us on a hike linking these three meadows, along with a walk to one of the impressive statues and a meander along a feeder creek. Hilly, rocky terrain which may be muddy - wear appropriate footwear. Please bring along snacks and water as we will stop along the way for a short snack break.
Logistics - we will meet at the Forbidden Drive Kiosk at Northwestern Avenue near the street parking at Northwestern Stables. Rest Room facilities about 1/4 mile into the hike. Hike will be 8 - 10 miles at a moderate pace. Anticipated hike time 3.5 - 4 hours. Please notify leader of any medical conditions (allergies, etc) that could affect your ability to complete the hike. Steady rain cancels - please check status by 7am the morning of the hike or contact leader with questions.
