Annual Chapter Picnic, NY-NoJ Chapter

For the benefit of any folks with scheduling conflicts that prevent them from attending the AMC DV chapter picnic on Sunday, June 8, I am posting the New York North Jersey Chapter Picnic here. It takes place on the previous day (Saturday 7th), with additional events taking place on Friday and Sunday.

Here’s a sneak peek at this year’s Picnic Activity Schedule . I have put last year's program in the photo library to give and example of the full range of events!

This is also an incredible opportunity to stay at AMC Harriman Outdoor Center at low cost.

We've lined up an entire weekend of fun outdoor activities, workshops, good food, and good music for you. Activities include day and night hikes, swimming, paddling, trail maintenance , conservation workshops, sunrise yoga on the dock, birdwatching, games, music, gourmet s'mores, and bonfires (feel free to pack musical instruments if you’re moved to jam). Bring the whole family because there will be kid-friendly activities, too, such as a scavenger hunt, leaf printing, and a chocolate fountain.
The picnic itself is served on Saturday at 4:30 p.m., featuring a fantastic picnic spread and a variety of dishes. Vegetarian and gluten-free dishes will be offered for every course.
