3-Mile Hike - Exploring Founding Forward (Valley Forge Freedom Foundation)

Details
Memorial Day weekend is a great time to explore the often-overlooked Valley Forge Freedom Foundation (now Founding Forward), which was established in 1949 to "preserve American patriotism and recognize civic duty." Although the Foundation is just miles from Valley Forge National Park, few realize that the 75-acre campus includes a Medal of Honor Grove which honors Medal recipients from the Civil through the Viet Nam wars.
Expect a stop-n-start hike through key Foundation attractions, culminating with a walk in the Medal of Honor grove to view each state's Medal of Honor memorial.
