Meadow Mountain Hike Deep Creek Maryland

Explore a small portion of Meadow Mountain Trail in Bittinger MD near Deep Creek MD. This 3.5 mile hike is over a wide, well maintained trail and has a portion of rocks and roots with a modest uphill section. The views of the valley from the outlook at the top of this shady out-and-back hike are lovely. Bring a snack and plenty of water. High winds and/or rain will cancel. Check the Meetup posting before 8 am for cancellation notice. Bring hiking poles if this is not your usual walking terrain. Meadow Mountain is a long trail and we are hiking a small portion of it. Be sure to put these coordinates into your Google Map App to arrive at the right hike start location. HQ7H+C4, Bittinger, MD 21561. Look for a red Prius at the trailhead. You must sign up for the event. Minimum of 3 people to attend. There are no bathrooms on the trail.
