20’s/30’s and all others bike ride on the D&R🚲

Details
Join us for a fun bike ride on the Jersey side of the Delaware River from Bulls Island to Washington Crossing. It is a 30-mile down-and-back, flat, crushed stone rail trail. There will be an option to turn around earlier for those who prefer a shorter ride of around 15 miles, depending on group dynamics.
The Washington Crossing area is known for the historical park famous for George Washington’s crossing of the Delaware River at Christmas in 1776 during the Revolutionary War.
Bathroom facilities are available at Bulls Island and in Washington Crossing. Bring plenty of water, snacks and/or lunch, a bike in good condition with a spare tube and other bike repair items. Wearing a bike helmet is MANDATORY during the ride. Feel free to rent a bike at nearby stores (ex: Big Bear Gear - 1874 River Rd Lambertville, NJ 08530 United States) prior to the start time if you don’t own a bike! Cold, heavy rain cancels. Check the site before 10 a.m. on the morning of the ride.
Optional: After the ride, anyone interested is welcome to join us for a visit to Earth Served at 10 Risler St, Stockton, NJ 08559 for sandwiches, soups, salads and more!
