Wissahickon Three Creek Exploration - 8 - 10 miles

Join us on a hike through many sections of Wissahickon Valley Park as we explore three of the creeks in the park - Wissahickon, Cresheim, and Monoshone. Our exploration will take us on trails on both sides of Wissahickon creek, offering beautiful views. Trails are rocky and there are hills! We will keep a moderate pace and will stop midway through the hike for a quick snack break. Distance 8-10 miles, anticipated hike time 3.5-4.5 hours depending on the pace of the group. Bring along plenty of water and snacks and dress for the weather. Steady rain cancels - if in doubt please check the status on Meetup by 6am the morning of the hike or contact leader with any questions. Logistics: We will meet at the corner of West Mount Airy Avenue and Mount Airy Terrace - there is plenty of street parking available. Restrooms available about 3 miles into the hike so please plan accordingly.
