D&R Canal Towpath Stroll & Goat Hill Hallowe'en Ramble
Details
Starting from the Fireman's Eddy Boatramp parking area off NJ-29 (River Road)(turnoff across the canal is just north of the "Golden Nugget" Fleamarket, and about 2 miles south of US202 bridge in Lambertville), we will stroll the Towpath into Lambertville, kink back to ascend all the currently open trails on Goat Hill, come down and view the Hallowe'en-decorated houses in Lambertville, and return to our cars. About 7.8 miles exclusive of Lambertville browsing, perhaps 9 miles in all. Moderate pace, 250 ft. elevation gain. Bring: water, sunhats, lunch, snacks, cellphones if you want pictures! Please RSVP so we don't leave you behind as we capri-caper away. Or register on Outdoor Connector: https://activities.outdoors.org/s/oc-activity/a5UUN000001mdOH2AY/act00016461

Note2: It's Goat Hill, but no kids! Nonetheless: "Please note: In order to comply with Pennsylvania Youth Protection Laws, all children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. This policy applies for all events offered by the Delaware Valley Chapter as well as any other Chapter events within the state of Pennsylvania."
Note3: Steady Rain cancels. If in doubt, check the website for status on the morning of the hike.
