Philly Sports Walk - 8 - 10 mile Urban Hike

Join us for an urban hike as we explore many Philly neighborhoods to find murals, statues, and historical landmarks related to Philly sports! The walk through the city will cover an 8 - 10 mile loop -- and while we won't be hitting the stadium area, we will find plenty of sports history on our way! Bring along your knowledge of Philly sports -- sports trivia will be part of our experience! Dress in layers for the weather and pack water and snacks - we will stop for a brief refueling break in one of Philly's many outdoor parks.

Logistics: We will meet in front of Lloyd Hall on Boathouse Row. There is free parking on Sedgley Drive which intersects Kelly Drive at Lloyd Hall. There are restrooms available at the start of the hike and at several locations along the route. Please let leader know if you have any medical conditions that could affect your ability to complete the hike. Rain cancels - an update will be posted by 7am the day of the hike.

Please note: In order to comply with Pennsylvania Youth Protection Laws, all children under
the age of 18 must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. This policy applies for all
events offered by the Delaware Valley Chapter as well as any other Chapter events within the
state of Pennsylvania.
