The Yellow Trail North plus Andorra - Wissahickon 8 - 10 miles

At just under 8 miles from end to end, the Yellow Trail spans almost the entire length of Wissahickon Valley Park on the west side of the creek. Our hike will start out exploring the Andorra Meadow trails. We will then jump on the Yellow trail and take it to Valley Green Inn where we will turn around and return on both wooded trails and Forbidden Drive. Trails are covered with rocks and roots and there are hills! Dress in layers for the weather and bring along plenty of water and snacks. We will take a short break at Valley Green before heading back to our starting point.

Anticipated hike time about 4 - 4.5 hours. Parking at Northwestern Stables and we will meet at the kiosk at the corner of Forbidden Drive and NW Ave. Restrooms available 1/4 mile into the hike. Steady rain/snow or hazardous driving cancels. Check AMC website by 7am the day of the hike or contact leader for updates.
